TITLE:Apprentice Installation Technician
EXEMPTION: Full-time
REPORTS TO: Field Quality Assurance Supervisor
LOCATION: Richardson, TX
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for Managing the start and completion of bathroom remodeling projects. Will communicate with customers on job status, time frames, and completion of job paperwork. Provide our customers with a “5 star” experience.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with managing remodeling projects, and install all sold products and services
- Manage customer expectations during the installation process
- Achieve monthly quarterly installation goals
- Keep records of all projects in corresponding project folders
- Converse with homeowners to ensure a “5 Star experience” for each installation.
- Attend regular installer meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain Inform managers (internal & external) of any issues that arise during installation
- Collaborate with supervisor to provide regular updates for customers
- Gather job completion paperwork
- Collect progress and final project payments from customers
- Resolve service issues, directly or indirectly, with customers and supervisor
- Manage Permits and Inspections, ensure all permits are managed to completion
- Practice effective de-escalation skills with customer to understand and address their concerns
- Perform other related duties assigned by supervisor
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
- Room for advancement – Apprentices have the ability to move into a Lead Installer Roll with wages up to $40/Hour
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have clean driving record and ability to pass a criminal background check

- 2-5 years experience in bathroom remodeling or other trades
- Effective oral communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- A warm, outgoing and enthusiastic personality.
- Self-motivated with a high urgency to succeed.
- Resilient character, positive attitude and consummate team player.
- Must be able to work under time deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices.
- Dependable transportation to and from our place of business daily. Valid driver’s License
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Must be 21 Years old to apply
- Able to lift, reach, bend, stoop and safely maneuver items weighing up to 75 pounds frequently, and ability to team lift larger and bulky items
- Basic carpentry, plumbing, and construction skills and experience
- Maintain company provided vehicle, tools, materials, and supplies
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
