Batchoff Operator, 3rd Shift Jobs in Brattleboro, VT at TPI Staffing Group
Seeking a Drop Mill/Batchoff Operator, 3rd Shift in the Brattleboro, VT area. This is a full time third shift position starting at $18.60/hour.
Responsibilities:
- Process mixed stock from Banbury by banding stock onto drop mill
- Crosscut and blend the stock into smooth, consistent form as dictated by specification
- Clean mill pan and surrounding floor of crumbs and place back into batch
- Remove stock from mill at special strip width onto conveyor, through dip tank to cooling racks
- Maintain work place that is compatible with Banbury output in order to achieve smooth uninterrupted work flow
- Monitor mill temperature
- Maintain specified dip mix and level
- Operate cooling racks and Batchoff equipment to festoon mixed stock into boxes and/or onto pallets
- Cut stock into batches of specified weight
- Remove boxes and pallets containing special weight to storage
- Obtain empty boxes and pallet
- Erect cartons
- Replenish polyfilm supply; operate material handling equipment
- Perform other duties as directed by supervision
Requirements:
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Attention to detail
- Time management
- Reliable attendance
Hours: Monday-Friday 11:00pm-7:00am
