Barista/All Rounder Jobs in Claremont at COIMBRA CONFECTIONARY and MANUFACTURING
An experienced and well spoken barista is offered to join an existing team. You must have at least 2years experience of which candidate would need to know the following:
· Customers are to be welcomed and seated and drink and food orders to be taken. Stay attentive to the needs of customers.
· The cleanliness and presentation of all crockery, cutlery, glass items being used must be checked at all times during shift.
· Maintain cleanliness of work areas i.e. practicing clean-as-you-go procedures throughout your shift.
· Be able to operate the point of sale system, ensuring accurate payments for items.
- Prepare high-quality coffee using a manual coffee machine, including latte art.
- Be prepared to serve meals.
- Assist the sales assistants in their duties
- Assiatant client sat counter sales
- Maintain a clean and hygienic workspace and café area during opening, operating, and closing hours.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols in the kitchen and café.
- Assist with retail sales and restocking of café items.
- Collaborate with the café team to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests.
Required Qualifications
- Matric certificate.
- Fluent in English.
- Clear criminal record (subject to company checks).
- Minimum of 2 year’s barista experience, including knowledge of coffee preparation and latte art.
