About Us
Ou Meul is a much-loved South African café and bakery brand with a deep passion for exceptional coffee, quality food, and genuine hospitality. We are opening a brand new store in Newlands, Cape Town, and we are looking for skilled, passionate baristas to help us bring our coffee culture to life from day one.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1–2 years of barista experience in a specialty coffee or café environment
- Strong espresso and milk texturing skills
- Experience with professional coffee equipment
- A genuine passion for coffee and continuous learning
- Warm, friendly, and guest-focused personality
- Able to work efficiently under pressure during busy service
- Well-presented, reliable, and a strong team player
What the Role Involves
- Preparing and serving Ou Meul’s full coffee and beverage menu to a consistently high standard
- Daily equipment setup, cleaning, and maintenance
- Working closely with the FOH team to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Upholding Ou Meul’s brand standards and values at all times
