We are looking for a skilled and energetic Barista to join our team. In this dual role, you will prepare and serve both high-quality coffee beverages and alcoholic drinks while delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about both coffee and cocktails, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso-based beverages to recipe standards
Mix and serve classic and signature cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits accurately and responsibly
Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, coffee station, and surrounding areas
Follow all safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations
Monitor inventory of bar and coffee supplies; restock as needed and alert management when low
Process payments accurately using the POS system
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, stock rotation, and cash handling
Stay current on menu offerings, specials, and seasonal drinks
Qualifications
Previous experience as a barista
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Understanding of responsible alcohol service and basic food safety practices
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Have your own transport
