AWS Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) to design, build, and support the AWS cloud infrastructure for our clients’ Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform.

This is a contract until December 2026.

Responsibilities

• 
  AWS Infrastructure: Design, build, optimize, and support secure, scalable AWS environments (compute, storage, networking) for the BaaS platform.
• 
  Architecture & Integration: Implement cloud-native architectures aligned with bank policies and integrate cloud environments with on-premises and external systems.
• 
  Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security controls, IAM roles, and compliance requirements.
• 
  DevOps & Operations: Support CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, monitor performance/costs, and handle incident resolution (Run & Change).
• 
  Documentation:Produce architecture diagrams, deployment scripts, monitoring/alerting setups, operational runbooks, and audit artifacts.
• 
  Collaboration:Partner with data, application, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end solutions meeting the team’s Definition of Done.

Requirements

• 
  Cloud Expertise: Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production-grade AWS environments.
• 
  DevOps & Automation: Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
• 
  Security Focus: Deep understanding of AWS security practices, IAM configuration, and enterprise compliance/audit standards.
• 
  Operations & FinOps: Experience with system monitoring, proactive logging/alerting, and cloud cost optimization.
• 
  Hybrid Systems: Familiarity with integrating cloud infrastructure with legacy on-premises and external systems.
