This is not generic transcription work. This is specialized, meaningful work that requires real aviation knowledge — and it directly contributes to improving AI systems used in aviation safety and autonomy.

- Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
- Transcribe real-world Air Traffic Control (ATC) and pilot audio recordings with high accuracy
- Label speakers, callsigns, read-backs, instructions, and responses
- Accurately capture aviation-specific terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology
- Work on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule
- Consistently meet quality and accuracy standards critical to AI training
Who You Are
- A pilot, student pilot, air traffic controller, or aviation professional
- An aviation enthusiast who regularly listens to ATC communications
- Someone with a solid understanding of standard aviation radio phraseology
- Extremely detail-oriented and patient with audio-based work
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
You don't need to be a professional transcriptionist — but you do need to genuinely understand aviation communications.
Nice to Have
- FAA or ICAO knowledge and familiarity with standard procedures
- Experience with LiveATC, flight simulation, or aviation training environments
- Prior transcription or annotation experience
