SUMMARY:
Remuneration: R50 000 – R70 000 dependent on experience + Incentive + Medical aid + Pension
Purpose Of The Job:
Our client, a reputable automotive dealership, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Toyota Service Manager to lead and manage the service department.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient workshop operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving departmental profitability in line with OEM standards.
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the service department
- Manage and lead workshop staff, including technicians and service advisors
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Monitor and improve workshop productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with Toyota standards and manufacturer requirements
- Manage departmental budgets, costs, and profitability (P&L)
- Handle customer queries, escalations, and technical concerns
- Maintain accurate reporting and service records
- Drive continuous improvement within the service department
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Service Manager within a Toyota dealership (Essential)
- Toyota experience Essential
- Strong technical and operational understanding of workshop processes
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Experience working with Dealer Management Systems (DMS)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Willing to relocate
