Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality repairs on a variety of vehicles, including GM and diesel engines.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs on various automotive systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to assist in the repair process.
- Execute alignment services to ensure proper vehicle handling and performance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle needs and repair options.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, including Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and welding techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role, preferably with dealership experience.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and equipment.
- Ability to work with both hand tools and power tools proficiently.
- Experience in vehicle maintenance, automotive repair, and service technician duties.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Understanding of auto estimating processes for repair costs.
- Experience working on GM vehicles is a plus; diesel engine repair experience is also desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.25 – $22.50 per hour
