Role Description
The Autocad Drafter is a full-time remote role responsible for producing accurate technical drawings for interior and architectural projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing detailed plans, elevations, and sections in AutoCAD based on design concepts and specifications. The role involves preparing and updating shop drawings and architectural drawings, coordinating with designers to refine layouts, and ensuring all drawings comply with project standards and local regulations. The Autocad Drafter will also support the design team by organizing drawing files, revising documents as needed, and maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing for interior and architectural projects.
- Experience creating and revising Shop Drawings for construction and fit-out works.
- Proficiency in developing precise Architectural Drawings that align with design and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of Architecture principles and space planning relevant to interior design.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of other design software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret design briefs, specifications, and construction documents.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or a related field preferred.
