A family is looking for an Au Pair for their children

Area: Milnerton
Children’s Ages: 3 and 9 years
Working hours: Monday to Friday 13:00 – 18:00, every 2nd Saturday 08:00 – 12:00
School holiday hours: Same/similar hours as above
Duties: Collect children from school, arrange after school activities, assist with 9 year old’s homework & school projects (although mom & dad will be primarily responsible for this, but they can start the homework so long), prep school lunch, prep school uniforms and bags for the next day, occasional outings and playdates, grocery shopping occasionally, get them through bath time in the evening and prep their dinner before leaving at the end of the day
Special Requirements: Female, Shona speaking (preferred), experience with the age groups, calm but energetic around kids, firm but not too stern, approachable and listens to as well as works co-operatively with children
Start Date and contract term: 1 June – year contract (possibility for renewal if all is going well)
Salary: R10 500 – R12 000 per month (Gross, before deductions) + car provided for childcare duties

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
**** Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
****Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
****Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
****Must have a clear criminal record
****Must have a passion for children
****Must have Matric
****Must have a South African ID document.
