In this role you will be responsible for:
- Performing work relating to the capture of SO 2 from the Kiln Off Gas.
- Effectively controlling the feed area of the Kiln
- Effectively controlling all operations regarding the Off Gas of the Kiln and related equipment in the Kiln Plant.
- Controlling the feed and re-agents into the Kiln.
- Controlling areas including operations and housekeeping.
- Conducting checklists and work as required.
- Carrying out work related instructions from Supervisor.
- Compliance with all safety, housekeeping and environmental procedures and policies of the company
- Maintaining adherence to Company’s safety, health, environment, HR and Disciplinary codes.
About you:
- Grade 10
- Must be able to work shifts
- Medically fit
- Be able to communicate clearly in English
- Must operate effectively in a team
- Must be willing to work overtime from time to time as and when required.
- Must ensure operational efficiency whilst on site and off site
- Must operate with integrity
- Must handle material in a safe manner
- At least 1 years’ experience in a heavy industry.
