Brief Description
The School invites eligible applicants to submit applications for the following positions:
1.
Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer (1 post):
Governance, Leadership, and Political Economy
PhD in Governance, Leadership, Development Studies, or a related Social Science discipline with relevant teaching experience and a publication record commensurate with the level of appointment.
Demonstrate ability to teach: (i) Governance and Leadership; (ii) Political Economy; (iii) Development; and as an added advantage, (iv) Research Methods and Research Proposal Development/Writing.
For appointment at Associate Professor level, supervision experience in these fields is required.
For Senior Lecturer level, supervision experience will be advantageous.
An active research agenda focused on the public sector, including but not limited to governance, leadership, political economy, development, and broader socio-economic challenges facing the African continent and potential policy or governance interventions, is a requirement.
