Role Purpose
The Senior Consultant: Warehouse Management is responsible for overseeing and optimising all warehouse operations within the business. This role will drive operational excellence, ensure inventory accuracy, and implement best practices in warehouse management to support the company’s network deployment, maintenance, and customer fulfilment objectives. The incumbent will lead warehouse teams, manage third-party logistics providers, and collaborate with procurement, finance, and project teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfilment, and dispatch.
- Ensure all warehouse processes comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability for network projects and customer orders.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Process Improvement & Optimisation:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse productivity, reduce costs, and minimise lead times.
- Drive automation and digitalisation initiatives within warehouse operations (e.g., WMS, barcode/RFID systems).
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
- Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and training.
Supplier & Third-Party Logistics Management:
- Manage relationships with logistics providers, transporters, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Negotiate service level agreements and monitor third-party performance.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with procurement, finance, project, and network deployment teams to align warehouse operations with business needs.
- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives as required.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory metrics, and operational KPIs to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and industry regulations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (essential)
- 5+ years’ experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role
- Experience in the telecommunications industry or a fast-paced technical environment (advantageous)
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics best practices
- Proven track record of leading teams and driving operational improvements
