Silver Spruce Montessori School provides an authentic Montessori education for children ages 15 months through kindergarten. Our school has served children and their families in Grafton and the surrounding area since 1998 with a curriculum focused on curiosity, respect, independence, and the natural environment.
Silver Spruce Montessori School is currently seeking a qualified assistant teacher to work in either one of our toddler (15 months to 2.9 years old) or preschool (2.9 to 5 years old) classrooms. This is a school year position (September to June) with the opportunity for extra hours during vacation weeks and summer program.
EEC teacher certification is required.
School year schedule is Monday & Wednesday 8:00am-3:00pm, Tuesday & Thursday 8:00am-4:00pm, and Friday 8:00am-12:30pm.
The ideal candidate must have 2-3 years experience working with children. A strong work ethic, flexibility, and enthusiasm are a must along with the ability to be a team player. We seek a responsible and dependable individual with strong communication skills. While Montessori experience is not required, a willingness to learn more about the philosophy is a must.
