Role Description
This full-time, on-site role is based in Pretoria, Menlyn, and offers the opportunity to manage daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the venue. The Assistant Manager will lead and motivate staff, oversee customer service excellence, manage shifts, and monitor inventory and maintenance. Additionally, the role involves assisting with event coordination, enforcing health and safety protocols, and addressing customer concerns to ensure a first-class guest experience.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Team Management skills: Ability to lead a team, resolve conflicts effectively, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Customer Service skills: Strong focus on guest satisfaction, communication, and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
- Operational skills: Experience managing inventory, scheduling shifts, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Event Coordination and Multitasking skills: Ability to handle logistics and planning for events while managing daily operations simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills: Ability to analyze situations quickly and make informed decisions.
- Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work on evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the entertainment venue's operational schedule.
- Proficiency in hospitality or entertainment industry management software is a plus.
- A diploma or degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
