Qualifications
- Grade 12
- Full N2 certificate with relevant trade theory
- Instrumentation trade certificate
- Completed POE for Section 26D trade certificate
Skills Requirements
- At least one year post trade test experience in a heavy industry environment
- Siemens S7 PLC and Wincc experience
- Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality awareness
- Good Interpersonal and Communication skills
- SAP and Coupa knowledge will be advantageous
- Able to work under pressure, adaptable, attention to detail
JOB OBJECTIVES
In this role you will be reporting to the Artisan Coordinator for the following:
- Installation of field instrumentation
- Routine Maintenance of field instrumentation
- Fault finding on field instrumentation
- Calibration of field instrumentation
- Commissioning and de-commissioning of field instrumentation
- Basic PLC Hardware Maintenance
- The employee will always adhere to the Company rules, standing instructions, policies and procedures.
- Maintain plant availability and operational stability in accordance with required standards
- Planned maintenance, schedules, and shutdowns
- Overtime will be worked when so required
- Acting in higher position when so required
