SUMMARY:
We’re looking for hands-on, reliable Artisan Assistants to support day-to-day facilities maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, solving problems on the go, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general facilities maintenance and repairs
- Attend to faults and breakdowns across the site
- Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, and repair work
- Conduct grass cutting and general site upkeep
- Support artisans and maintenance teams when required
- Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are kept in good condition
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant experience in maintenance or a similar role
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, or general repairs
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work
- Willingness to work in a hands-on, outdoor/industrial environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and proactive attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
