The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging art lessons, inspiring creativity, and helping students develop their artistic talents across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative and age-appropriate art lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages artistic expression and exploration
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development
- Organize art exhibitions and displays that showcase student work and promote an appreciation of the arts
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into cross-curricular activities and projects
- Manage art resources, ensuring the safe and responsible use of materials and equipment
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in art education
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Experience teaching art to students in a school setting, ideally across multiple age groups
- Proficiency in various art techniques and media
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate and support students
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage classroom resources effectively
