Position Overview
The Agriculture Machines Sales Manager will oversee sales operations for agricultural machinery such as tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other farm equipment. This role requires strong technical knowledge of machinery, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive sales growth while building long-term relationships with farmers, dealers, and distributors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for agricultural machinery.
- Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in assigned regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, cooperatives, dealerships, and government agencies.
- Conduct product demonstrations, field trials, and training sessions for customers.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to design campaigns and promotional activities.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to senior management.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Agribusiness, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in agricultural machinery sales or equipment distribution.
- Strong technical knowledge of tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other farm equipment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and work closely with field teams.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
