Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager with a strong background in the Home Care sector (e.g., detergents, disinfectants, air care, or cleaning tools) to drive market penetration and revenue growth across assigned territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Management: Oversee sales operations, distribution channels, and retailer relationships within the region to ensure product availability and visibility.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a team of field sales representatives to achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Market Strategy: Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies to counter competition, manage pricing, and introduce new home care products to the market.
- Distribution Expansion: Identify new wholesalers, distributors, and retail partners to expand market share in both urban and semi-urban areas.
- Reporting: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer feedback; provide regular reports to senior management with actionable insights.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the FMCG sector, specifically with Home Care or cleaning products.
- Strong negotiation skills and a vast network of distributors within the region.
- Ability to analyze sales data and drive performance under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Compensation: Competitive salary (₦200k – ₦250k) plus performance-based bonuses and operational allowances.
