Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum grade 12 certificate
- Operations or related Diploma
- Valid Unendorsed Code EB Driver’s License (previously Code 08)
- At least 2 years’ proven work experience as a manager
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (MS Office) Experience
- In-depth knowledge of traffic control and traffic management
- Communications skills (both written & verbal)
- Organising and planning skills
- Strong managerial skills
- Flexible availability required, including standby and overtime duties when necessary
Continuous visits to satellite stations
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the team leader to confirm staff availability and monitor staff during shift changes.
- Complete the weekly report and submit it to the Operations Manager.
- Collect paperwork, daily checklists, and verify fuel levels.
- Report any broken equipment to the relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure proper handover to another area manager when required and inform direct staff accordingly.
- Conduct daily site visits to ensure all staff are wearing their PPE.
- Submit the daily vehicle availability report to the TMC personnel.
- Communicate with team leaders to monitor staff movements, particularly at incident scenes
