Job Description:
Are you a dynamic, results-driven leader with a passion for the fast-food industry? We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to oversee multiple fast-food stores, drive performance, and ensure operational excellence.
This is a full-time position. The specific area you will be managing will be discussed during the interview. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a proven track record in multi-store management, we’d love to hear from you!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leading and overseeing multiple Fast Food restaurants concurrently.
- Coaching Restaurant Managers to ensure that store gains market share and achieve customer, people and profit objectives
- Drive excellence in customer satisfaction, facilities management, HR management, financial management, Informational management, risk management
- Driving effective sales/marketing strategies
- Time management
- Succession planning, people planning and mentoring of staff for senior positions
- Daily store audits with weekly and monthly feedback to Managers
- Regular Restaurant/Store visits
- Period and quarterly store audit routine
- Attend Operations meetings and communicate with Managers
- Assist managers to draw up SMART plans
- Following disciplinary procedures and chairing inquiries (presiding officer)
- Assist with the opening of new restaurants
- Build, align and develop the team according to company goals
- Business annual planning (budget for the region)
- Ensure that all stores are profitable
- Oversee local marketing efforts by Managers
- Handle suppliers where necessary
- Handle escalated customer complaints
- Head Office inspections to ensure store is running within set standards
Experience:
- Management: 3 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Requirements:
- Own transport and driver’s licence.
- Matric Certificate
