Join G4S Security Services Cameroon PLC, the leader in the provision of global integrated security solutions! We are currently seeking a dynamic and commercially-minded professional to step into the role of Kribi Area Coordinator.

The Role

As the Kribi Area Coordinator, your main purpose will be to manage the provision of contractual and ad hoc security services to our customers. You will ensure full compliance with legislation and company policies, work to achieve budgeted financial targets, and use your commercial acumen to drive business expansion throughout the Kribi Area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial & Performance Management: Initiate cost-saving models and controls to manage gross margins. Oversee direct wage control, manage overheads, and ensure overall contract profitability.
  • Business Development: Drive new business development by identifying and securing new opportunities within the unit’s sphere of operations. Focus on business growth with existing customers and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the regional competitor environment through continuous evaluations.
  • Team Leadership & HR Management: Effectively organize your team by analyzing staff turnover and properly allocating staff to positions and structures. Manage labor effectively, including rosters, shift patterns, overtime, and annual leave. Supervise staff, maintain high motivation levels, conduct performance assessments, and implement corrective actions when necessary. Ensure acceptable behavior standards are maintained in compliance with the G4S code of conduct and that all disciplinary actions follow company policies.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain excellent client retention and customer service levels by analyzing and managing all customer queries. Ensure customers are aware of the requirements for security systems for efficient service delivery. Ensure adherence to quality standards in operations process management, maintain absenteeism within established norms, and keep a log of all calls and activations. Optimize manpower to minimize unnecessary overtime and ensure only appropriately trained security personnel are utilized at all times. Prevent or minimize claims against the company through regular customer risk assessments, and liaise regarding invoicing accuracy and payment securing.

What You Bring

Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of Cameroon security legislation.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety protocols.
  • Knowledge of G4S Operational and HR policies and procedures.
