📌 Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Architect will develop architectural concepts and detailed designs for projects involving suspended ceilings, drywall systems, and storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed architectural drawings, workshop drawings (Shop Drawings), and technical specifications for suspended ceilings, drywall systems, and storage layouts.
- Coordinate and collaborate closely with engineering, production, and installation teams to ensure design compatibility and constructability.
- Ensure all designs comply with safety standards, local building codes, and client requirements.
- Visit project sites to assess conditions, provide technical guidance, and support the accurate implementation of design solutions.
- Participate in project planning meetings, assist with cost estimates, and help with material selection.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards and product integration within digital workflows.
💼 Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Fresh Graduate with a strong theoretical foundation).
- Design Skills: Strong foundation in architecture and architectural design, with the ability to develop functional, safe, and aesthetically aligned solutions.
- Software Proficiency: Excellent command of relevant design and visualization tools, particularly AutoCAD and Revit (or similar CAD/BIM software).
- Project Integration: Good understanding of project management concepts (planning, timelines) and familiarity with integrating architectural designs with structural and mechanical systems.
- Local Standards: Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and construction practices in Egypt.
- Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, contractors, and clients on-site.
- A Plus: Comfort with Software Development concepts for collaborating with technical teams on design tools or digital workflows.
