As a Carpenter/Joiner, you will work with our talented team to produce a range of furniture products, from custom pieces to high-volume orders. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working with both traditional techniques and modern machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct, assemble, and finish furniture pieces according to design specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all pieces meet our quality standards before final assembly.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a carpenter, joiner, or cabinet maker in a furniture manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, joinery, and furniture construction.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Skilled in operating woodworking machines such as saws, planers, and sanders.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
