We’re looking for a Senior Android Developer (m/f/d) with passion, drive, and a curiosity for modern technologies to help us shape the future of digital solutions. If you’re ready to bring innovative mobile applications to life and be part of an international team – apply now!
Your mission:
- Design, implement, and maintain robust Android applications with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability
- Develop and maintain reusable, well-architected SDKs for integration across projects
- Implement NFC and hardware-related mobile features for real-world use cases
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in Germany, South Africa, and other locations via GitLab workflows including merge requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze, optimize, and continuously improve existing mobile solutions
- Familiarize yourself quickly with new topics and think beyond the traditional Android scope
- Contribute to code quality, software architecture, and team processes
What you bring:
- Solid experience in Android development using Kotlin and Java
- Strong understanding of software architecture, maintainability, and code quality
- Experience with NFC on Android and hardware-related mobile features
- Proven track record developing robust, reusable SDKs
- Hands-on experience with Git and GitLab, including merge requests, code reviews, and CI/CD-based development workflows
- Familiarity with Android build and release processes
- Ability to work independently, in a structured way, and with a high level of reliability
Bonus/Nice to have:
- Experience in C++
- Exposure to cross-platform technologies such as .NET MAUI, Flutter, or React Native
