Responsibility
- Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organisation’s security program to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT systems.
- Assist in meeting and maintaining PCI DSS compliance requirements across the business.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, including wireless and network scans, to identify and resolve security weaknesses.
- Monitor network traffic, security logs, and system alerts to detect unusual activity and recommend risk‑reducing actions.
- Contribute to investigations of security anomalies or breaches and support remediation activities with relevant teams.
- Assist in developing and deploying automation tools for security monitoring and routine security tasks.
- Participate in delivering security awareness and training initiatives to help strengthen the company’s security culture.
- Provide daily security administration support and help end‑users with security‑related issues.
- Support the delivery of compliance audits and cybersecurity maturity milestones. Assist in tracking and reporting on key security performance indicators and incidents.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Security certifications such as CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, or CEH are an advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in IT Administration or IT Security.
- Strong analytical and attention‑to‑detail skills to identify issues in data or system behaviour.
- Experience working with security tools such as MDM, DLP, antivirus solutions, email security tools, and SIEM platforms.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain security practices and support awareness training.
