Aluminium Welder Jobs in Pretoria at Specialist Mechanical Engineers
Purpose of Job:
- To read Manufacturing drawings and welding symbols to identify welding measurements and position before cutting and joining metal parts together through the application of appropriate welding techniques.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Read and understand Manufacturing drawings and welding symbols.
2. Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.
3. Welding material together to produce the finished product.
4. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
5. Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
6. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
7. Weld Aluminium material.
The Following Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience will be required:
u Qualification in welding will be advantageous.
u 5 years Proven experience as a welder.
u Be competent to do TIG and MIG welding.
u Be qualified to weld Aluminium.
u Be able to pass the Internal welding test.
Personal Attributes
u Attention to fine detail and being hands-on is very crucial.
u Technical knowledge and problem-solving ability.
u Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings.
u knowledge of welding machinery.
u The candidate should be a team player.
u Good knowledge of and adherence to safety standards.
