Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Airport Assistant to join our team in Durban. The Airport Assistant will be responsible for providing support and assistance to passengers and airlines at the airport, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. Key Responsibilities:
– Greet and assist passengers at the airport, providing information and directions as needed
– Assist passengers with check-in, baggage drop-off, and boarding processes

– Coordinate with airlines and other airport personnel to ensure smooth and timely flight operations
– Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the airport terminal

– Adhere to all safety and security procedures and regulations at all times
– Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Airport Manager or Supervisor
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
– Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
– Proficient in using computer systems and applications
– Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
