Role Description The Administrative Secretary is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the office and management team. Daily tasks include managing correspondence, preparing documents, maintaining filing systems (physical and digital), and organizing office records. The role also involves scheduling meetings and appointments, coordinating calendars, and supporting the planning of internal events or training sessions. The Administrative Secretary will handle front-desk responsibilities such as greeting visitors, managing phone calls and emails, and responding to routine inquiries. Additional duties may include assisting with data entry, basic reporting, and supporting communication between departments to ensure smooth office operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong clerical skills, including document preparation, filing, data entry, and record keeping.
  • Proficiency in administrative assistance, such as managing correspondence, supporting management, and handling office logistics.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, students, and partners.
  • Experience with scheduling and calendar management, including organizing meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Customer service skills, with a focus on providing courteous, timely support to visitors and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfort using office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and scheduling tools); familiarity with school or training environments is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Prior experience in an administrative or secretarial role; experience in education or training services is an advantage.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in administration, business, or a related field preferred.
