Duties/Pligte

  • Handling general reception and enquiries.
  • Performing administrative and/or secretarial duties of allocated consultants/emeriti professors.
  • Assisting support staff with undergraduate, postgraduate and Symplectic Elements-system administrative duties.
  • Performing financial administration on SUNFin, including asset management of the Department.
  • Facilities management and IT administration of the Departement.
  • CPD administration of the Department.
  • National Research Foundation (NRF) applications of the Departement.
  • Administration of the departmental MBChB IV Elective Students Programme.
  • Administration of the departmental Academic Programme and Annual Academic Day.
  • Arranging departmental functions/workshops.

  • Hanteer algemene ontvangs en navrae.
  • Verrig administratiewe en/of sekretariële pligte van toegekende konsultante/emeriti professore.
  • Verleen bystand aan ondersteuningspersoneel met voorgraadse, nagraadse en Symplectic Elements-stelsel administratiewe pligte.
  • Verrig finansiële administrasie op SUNFin, insluitend batebestuur van die Departement.
  • Fasiliteitsbestuur en IT-administrasie van die Departement.
  • VPO-administrasie van die Departement.
  • Nasionale Navorsingstigting (NNS) aansoeke van die Departement.
  • Administrasie van die departementele MBChB IV Elektiewe Studenteprogram.
  • Administrasie van die departementele Akademieseprogram en Jaarlikse Akademiese Dag.
  • Tref reëlings vir departementele funksies/werkswinkels.

Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

  • Grade 12.
  • At least five years’ experience in financial administration.
  • Experience with information, financial and/or administrative systems.
  • Proven computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook.
  • Sound language abilities in English with a willingness to work in a multilingual environment.
  • The ability to perform detailed administrative tasks under pressure and with great precision.
  • Proven ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Proven ability to work with confidential information.
  • Proven ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks.

  • Graad 12.
  • Minstens vyf jaar se ervaring in finansiële administrasie.
  • Ervaring met inligtings-, finansiële- en/of administratiewe stelsels.
  • Bewese rekenaarvaardighede in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint en MS Outlook.
  • Goeie taalvaardighede in Engels met die bereidwilligheid om in ‘n veeltalige omgewing te werk.
  • Die vermoë om gedetailleerde administratiewe take met groot noukeurigheid en onder druk te kan uitvoer.
  • Bewese vermoë om onafhanklik asook as deel van ‘n span te werk.
  • Bewese vermoë om met vertroulike inligting te werk.
  • Bewese vermoë om take te beplan, te organiseer en te prioritiseer.

Recommendation/Aanbeveling

  • At least three years’ experience in general office management.
  • A diploma or certificate in general/office administration.

  • Minstens drie jaar se ervaring in algemene kantoorbestuur.
  • ‘n Diploma of sertifikaat in algemene/kantooradministrasie.
