Administrative Clerk / Store Controller

We are looking for a reliable and organised Administrative Clerk / Store Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating with customers and suppliers, and ensuring accurate stock control.

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid South African Driver's Licence
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain monthly Excel reports for Head Office in Germany
  • Liaise with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and payment follow-ups
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding stock availability, orders, and delivery dates
  • Manage and control stock on site, including monthly stock counts
  • Ensure Finance receives all relevant documentation timeously
  • Assist with picking and checking orders before dispatch
  • Check incoming stock deliveries from local and international suppliers
  • Provide administrative support to Sales Engineers when required

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office-based role
  • Occasional local travel may be required
  • 40.5 hours per week
