Administrative Assistant Jobs in Pretoria, Gauteng at Bestprop

A residential property business based in Pretoria is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative assistant to join on a part-time basis.

The role: 5 hours per day, 5x a week. This is a role with the potential to become full-time in the future

All systems are computerised and run on Microsoft 365 and OneDrive.

You’ll be handling admin across two main areas:

Rentals: Tasks include tenant applications and lease documents, arrear rent follow-ups, maintenance coordination, Rental Tribunal and Magistrates’ Court liaison, and capturing accounts for City of Tshwane and Body Corporate levies.

Property Development: Tasks include property listings, sales and transfer registers, building contract monitoring, and bank progress payment management.

Plus general office admin: calls, emails, WhatsApp, petty cash reconciliation, and worker attendance capturing.

What you need:

  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills – Especially in Excel
  • Comfortable with WhatsApp Business (desktop and mobile)
  • Basic accounting literacy – Understanding of debits and credits and ability to read and explain rental statements
  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Good with people, especially in sensitive payment conversations
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, consistency and ability to work independently is important

Advantageous:

  • Property rental experience is an advantage but not a requirement. Training will be provided.
  • You’ll report directly to the business owner
  • Travel for work purposes is covered by the employer (ride-hailing)
  • Market-related remuneration based on experience
  • A non-disclosure and POPIA agreement will be required
