Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Admin and Accounting Support / Bookkeeper to assist with both administrative and financial functions within the business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while also supporting general office administration to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Bookkeeping Duties:

  • Capture and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process invoices, quotations, and purchase orders
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts
  • Track income, expenses, and petty cash
  • Assist with month-end reporting and basic financial summaries
  • Follow up on outstanding payments and debtor accounts

Administrative Support Duties:

  • Provide general office administrative support
  • Maintain filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Assist with correspondence, emails, and document preparation
  • Support procurement and supplier coordination
  • Manage office supplies and stock control
  • Assist management with ad hoc tasks as required

Minimum Requirements (Experience & Education)

  • Grade 12 / Matric (essential)
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (required)
  • 3+ years’ experience in bookkeeping or combined admin/accounting support role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Pastel, QuickBooks, Xero or similar) is essential
  • Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
