Job Function
Maintain accounts payable transactions and support the administration requirements of the business. Maintain good relationships with vendors and get suitable payment terms.
Key Performance Areas
- Comply with relevant finance and general SOP.
- Assist in internal and external audits.
- Consumables Management (stationery and warehouse consumables i.e., cartons tapes, etc.)
- Kenya AP Invoice capturer / Matching and Payments posting.
- Supplier payments and statements reconciliation.
- Statutory compliance and returns.
- Tracking all payments and expenditures.
- Analysis of expense accounts (Prepare expense analysis per cost center).
- Vendor Aging reports.
- Manage Loans, dividends and capital structure optimization.
- Responsible for handling the company Insurance policies.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, business administration or CPA Finalist.
Experience and Skills Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Accounts payables.
- Advanced analytical skills, accounting skills and ability to operate an ERP system.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Power point programs.
- Proficient business and operations management.
