Accounts assistant – K Hay band

Job Advert Summary

Reporting to the financial Administrator the successful candidate will provide an:

• Update of Periodic Maintenance Report and Journals
• Ensure correct cost and allocations and compliance thereof
• Compiling of supply chain reports an follow up on queries
• Follow up on outstanding deliveries for site
• Analysis of site tender and contract register monthly
• Assist with site procurement plan as required
• Order deletion report on orders over or past delivery period

Minimum Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) and studying toward a financial qualification
• Financial qualification (NQF Level 6) added advantage
• Reports and reconciliations
• Knowledge of cost allocations
• Reports and reconciliations
• 3 years Financial Environment experience
• Valid drivers license with ability to pass RW K53 Test
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & SAP)

• Expediting of orders and requisitions

Primary Duties

• SAP notes on all information regarding delivery information of order
• Correspondence on outstanding requisition report for site
• Coordinate SCM meetings for site
• Compiling accurate monthly reports and reconciliations
• Compile monthly tender and contracts register
• Ensure compliance on current orders not to exceed contractual dates
• Assist with updating periodic maintenance expenditure reports as and when required
