Accounts and Admin Manager – Hyde Park Jobs in Johannesburg, South Africa at Dixie Recruitment

Our client, a SME business, is seeking the services of a highly organised Accounts & Office Administrator to join their small, dynamic team.

Requirements:

Matric (Grade 12)
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping, or office administration
Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency

Experience with invoicing, accounts receivable and accounts payable
Experience performing bank and VAT reconciliations
Experience working in a small or medium-sized business environment preferred
Exposure to export transactions and foreign currency (US$) payments advantageous

Duties will include:

Generating and issuing customer invoices accurately and timeously
Managing accounts receivable, including following up on outstanding payments
Processing supplier invoices and payments and maintaining supporting documentation
Managing supplier prepayments against future deliveries
Performing bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies
Tracking and recording business expenses and ensuring accurate categorisation
Assisting with incoming FX (US$) payments and export documentation
Preparing financial documentation for external accountants, audits, and tax submissions
Maintaining accurate financial and operational records in Excel
Overseeing general office administration and filing systems
Providing administrative support to management
Assisting with operational coordination and reporting where required

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently within a small team, maintaining strict confidentiality and ensuring that all financial and administrative processes are managed accurately and efficiently.
