Key responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for client’s portfolios
- Compilation of Financial Statements
- Provisional and Income Tax Calculations
- On-the-job training for trainee accountants
- Meet monthly deadlines in a timeously manner
- Self-motivation, excellent communication with clients and colleagues, teamworking and interpersonal skills
- Detail reviews on team’s work performed
- Reconciliations of input/output VAT to monthly trial balance.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements:
- B.Com Degree in Financial accounting
- Management experience or relevant managerial experience
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Knowledge of IFRS or IFRS for SME’s
- VAT & Income tax knowledge
- Management of client’s portfolios
- Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
Recommended – Not a requirement but will be seen as an advantage:
- Completed SAICA articles
- Caseware or Draftworx experience
- Sage / Xero experience
