Role Description
· Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team, including training and performance Management.
· Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury and general ledger functions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
· Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
· Lead Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
· Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
· Monitor and manage cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support business decision-making.
· Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
· Establish, maintain, and enforce internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures.
· Coordinate and support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.
· Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Serve as a strategic business partner to senior management by delivering financial insights, analysis, and recommendations.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).
· 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
· Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
· Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
