As the Accountant, you’ll play a key role in supporting financial operations across six manufacturing facilities nationwide. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, and supporting the business with reliable financial information that drives decision-making.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Managing balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and month-end processes
- Ensuring VAT, EMP
201, and other statutory compliance requirements are met - Supporting manufacturing and cost accounting activities
- Assisting with forex and export-related financial transactions
- Reviewing payroll reconciliations and financial information from operational sites
- Contributing to audit processes, financial controls, and continuous improvement initiatives
What we’re looking for
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles preferred
- Approximately 1–3 years’ post-articles experience essential
- Strong Excel and accounting systems experience
- A practical, hands‑on approach with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
