Our client is a top 20 London based award-winning specialist accountancy and advisory firm providing advice to a variety of clients across the UK and internationally.
This is a permanent Cape Town based (hybrid) role that offers an excellent opportunity to gain international exposure, work with complex, high-caliber clients and join a firm known for its collaborative culture and genuine investment in people, with clear growth pathways and support every step of the way!
Your role will entail professional day to day accounting work for a variety of clients, applying principles of accounting. You will be responsible for the preparation of annual financial statements, consolidation workings and assisting managers with updating the financial statements.
You will initially assist other people within the team on their clients and then you will take on responsibility for a portfolio of clients under the supervision and direction of managers, our director and partners.
On offer: R400 000 – R450 000 depending on experience plus benefits
Requirements:
- Recently Qualified CIMA / SAIPA / AGA(SA)
- 3 – 4 years Experience working in a professional services firm/business outsourcing environment
- Proficient in using Xero.
- Ability to multitask – ability to prioritize work and work to tight deadlines
- Familiar with and have an awareness of the laws and regulations that apply to accounting and audit and are required to ensure quality and compliance.
