Our Client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate financial record-keeping, preparing draft financial statements and management accounts, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the smooth and lawful operation of the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting role,
- Strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel), and comfort working with digital financial systems and spreadsheets.
- Solid understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic knowledge of audit processes and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in all financial records.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to ethical financial practices.
