You’ll play a key role in retaining clients, uncovering upsell opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that add measurable value.

About the Role

As Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing an existing client base while acting as a trusted advisor on logistics and compliance solutions. This role blends relationship management, commercial insight, and operational problem-solving. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, understanding client pain points, and collaborating cross-functionally to drive retention and expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive upsell opportunities within the existing client base
  • Analyse shipment and usage data to uncover areas for added client value
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend tailored solutions
  • Deliver solution presentations and demonstrate service value
  • Collaborate with commercial teams on contract negotiations and pricing
  • Implement retention strategies through regular reviews and proactive support
  • Educate clients on shipping compliance and available solutions
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to support growth
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, reporting, and activity tracking

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in business, logistics, sales, or a related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in client services, account management, or sales
  • Strong sales acumen and a track record of upselling or growing accounts
  • Knowledge of logistics compliance, customs procedures, or supply chain operations
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Negotiation and contract management capability
  • Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
  • Independent, proactive, and commercially focused approach

Nice to Have

  • Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations or trade compliance
  • Exposure to client retention strategies and account growth planning
