Minimum Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in a retail environment (Essential)
  • Competence in FBH Planning Systems, such as: Assort, Allocations, MP, PLM Planning etc. (Essential)
  • Competence in either FBH Buying or Sourcing Systems (Desirable)
  • Confidence to facilitate learning and the enthusiasm to develop into a well-rounded Learning & Development professional through on-the-job coaching and support.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate training sessions with new and existing FBH team members.
  • Implement assessment process to measure competence of talent and effectiveness of training interventions.
  • Partner with FBH leadership to identify knowledge gaps and provide input into training curriculum.
  • Design and develop training material for traditional and digital platforms.
  • Work with key functional experts in the development and enhancement of training material.
  • Ensure availability and accessibility of all learning material to all trainees/learners.
  • Identify refresher training requirements during user engagement.
  • Work with the team to evaluate training programmes, and implement business improvement feedback on an ongoing basis.
  • Compile data and reports for management purposes.
  • Remain up to date on developments in workplace learning and the retail industry.
