We’re hiring a remote 3D CAD Designer to work on roof modeling, exterior house geometry, and measurement reports using modern design tools.
This role is a good fit if you’re interested in CAD, 3D modeling, construction systems, or building technology. We provide training, so prior roofing experience isn’t required.
Location & Schedule
This is a fully remote role.
We’re primarily looking for candidates based in Latin America or West Africa (Nigeria preferred), mainly for timezone alignment.
You’ll need to be available for one of the following shifts (EST):
- 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM
You’ll also need a reliable laptop and stable internet connection.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building accurate 3D roof models and full exterior house structures
- Creating roof measurement reports (facets, pitch, ridges, valleys, etc.)
- Modeling exterior elements like siding, gutters, and trim
- Working with aerial imagery and maps to ensure accuracy
- Coordinating with internal teams to maintain quality
- Delivering consistent, high-quality output on a daily basis
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable learning new tools quickly
- Basic understanding of geometry and spatial reasoning
- Experience with CAD or 3D tools is helpful, but not required
- Able to work independently and manage time well
- Clear communication
Training
We’ll train you on:
- Roof modeling workflows
- Exterior structure modeling
- Measurement and takeoff tools
- Our internal CAD-style systems
- AI-assisted design workflows
No prior experience in roofing is required.
Nice to Have
- Any background in CAD, drafting, or 3D modeling
- Experience in construction, architecture, or estimating
- Familiarity with residential buildings or roof types
