Scott’s Lawn Care (SLC) is looking for an experienced 2nd Shift Shop Assistant to join our team at our Maple Plain location. We provide comprehensive services to businesses and residents in the west metro area, including lawn and snow maintenance. As a Shop Assistant on our team, you would be responsible for diagnoses, minor repairs, and maintaining small engines in equipment like lawnmowers and other SLC equipment after hours when crews complete their routes.

Pay Range: $18 – $23 per hour + Seasonal Bonus
Responsibilities
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance on mow equipment.
- Keep shops and yard clean and organized.
- Manage blade sharping, refueling, equipment repairs, etc when mow crews return to the shop.
- Keeping inventory of parts organized and request ordering when needed.
- Preventative plans and documentation.
Qualifications
- Must pass a background check.
- Positive attitude, works well with others, and leadership mentality.
- Working knowledge of small gas engines.
- Safety first mindset, presents himself or herself in a professional manner, and thrives on change; is adaptable.
