Role Description The كاتب محتوي (Content Writer) is a full-time role responsible for producing clear, engaging, and accurate content about scholarships, study abroad programs, and travel opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include researching opportunities, writing and updating website articles, social media posts, and guides, and ensuring all content is consistent with the platform’s tone and brand. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to align content with campaigns, editing and proofreading materials, and optimizing content for search engines and user experience. This is a hybrid role based in Alexandria, Egypt, where regular in-office work is combined with some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Ability to research, write, and edit clear, accurate, and engaging content in Arabic (and preferably English) about scholarships, education, and travel.
- Strong skills in organizing information, structuring articles and guides, and presenting complex topics in simple, accessible language.
- Familiarity with digital content best practices, including basic SEO, user-focused writing, and publishing content on websites and social media.
- Attention to detail, including consistent grammar, spelling, and style, and the ability to proofread and revise content thoroughly.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment based in Alexandria, Egypt.
- Interest in international education, scholarships, or travel, and a genuine motivation to help people access global opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Arabic Language, Translation, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
