We are a licensed online gambling and sports betting company operating officially in the market.
We are currently looking for an accountant to join our team.
Good knowledge of English is required, as the job involves communication in an international environment.
Main responsibilities
☑️Full cycle accounting for local legal entities in Sierra Leone: bookkeeping, reconciliation, payroll, and expense control.
☑️Accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with OHADA standards and in accordance with IFRS for consolidation.
☑️Monitoring transactions with banks, PSPs (payment service providers), and local payment agents.
☑️Calculating and filing all necessary taxes: VAT, corporate income tax, and other local obligations.
☑️Preparing reports for management and the international head office.
☑️Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring timely submission of all requested data.
☑️Participation in optimization of accounting workflows, automation, and implementation of new finance tools.
☑️Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and cooperation with external consultants (lawyers, tax advisors).
Requirements
☑️University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
☑️3+ years of proven experience in accounting (iGaming, fintech, telecom, or international companies is an advantage).
☑️Solid knowledge of accounting system and understanding of IFRS.
☑️Experience with accounting software (1C, Sage, QuickBooks or similar).
☑️Attention to detail, reliability, ability to meet deadlines.
☑️Strong communication skills for collaboration with HQ and local authorities.
☑️Languages: English (intermediate+; ability to prepare reports in English will be a strong plus).
