Accounts Payable Clerk Jobs in Maitland at two oceans marketing

Duties and responsibilities

· Process outgoing payments to suppliers in compliance with financial policies and procedures

· Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

· Reconcile the accounts payable age balance to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted.

· Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling supplier accounts and monthly supplier statements

· Understand expense accounts and cost centers.

· Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (purchases, tax, etc.)

· Ensure accurate record keeping of invoices and payments.

· Adhoc admin duties.

· Able to work well with others

· Excellent verbal communication skills

· Numeracy and Literacy skills

· Good organising skills

Requirements

· At least 6 months experience in a similar role

· Certificate/Diploma in Accounting or similar field

· Excel Knowledge

· Sage X3 Knowledge (Advantageous)

Pay: R10 000,00 – R12 500,00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Maitland, Western Cape 7405: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
